Minecraft username: Hagasmacho Discord ID: Leil#5872 Timezone: Eastern Daylight Time Age (optional): 19 What is your preferred staff position?: Moderator/Admin How long have you been playing on Indigon?: Only under a month What makes you qualified to be a Moderator on Indigon? (Previous experience moderating, character traits, etc.): First and foremost, do not let the short timeframe be dissuasive, although I have only been on the server for a mere 8 days (as of this writing) I feel the time I've spent active has been sufficient for the position itself. Minecraft is a simple game but that does not mean someone can't be uneducated about it, and while some could be described this way i feel i am the opposite for nearly all my time spent using a computer i have known minecraft. When I was younger I (regrettably) read the wiki religiously and while now some of my understanding of minecraft may have dated the purpose has not, Making me very qualified when it comes to simple minecraft assistance. Personally I am a detail oriented person who simply wants to improve a normal player's experience with the server as a whole, mainly by assisting them with what they may request of a moderator. May it be help with server commands, simply keeping an eye on the server and its occupants or the rare task of showing someone who decided to ruin others fun the door, I always make the utmost effort to perform my expected tasks as required. I am focused on the server and feel I am an experienced water bender and have a thorough understanding of the basics of bending itself. Combining all these traits and my enjoyment of assisting anyone who might need it, I feel qualified for the position of moderator in the server, helping those who need it and dispatching punishment to those who require it. Why do you want this staff position?: In my short time i have grown attached to the server and its small but active community, and a bit of this application is an old longing for the older days of minecraft. Small communities and noobs were aplenty, and while the servers i had modded/admined for in the past have been lost to the sands of time my experiences have not. Another part of it is even in my 8 days, I've seen people using third party programs to gain an advantage over others, now personally I detest those who elevate themselves over others artificially in games like minecraft. It's just pitiful. While the mod team did their job wonderfully and dealt with them swiftly, it brought the topic to my attention. In short, I simply wish to moderate a smaller minecraft (however if the server grows I will not leave, as I watched it grow) and enjoy my time with a community that knows each other. What is one thing you would want to change about Indigon?: I think a great addition would be an elemental training ground like the arenas without pvp enabled, i've seen people attempt to train others in the arenas to some difficulty of others. A dedicated area would allow inexperienced players to call upon elemental chiefs or moderators for assistance in learning bending in a controlled environment with the tools to make learning easier. Additional information (optional): While i'm free for the summer once the fall rolls around i will be entering college to become a computer science technician which is no easy feat, so while i wont be completely gone my time will be substantially lowered.
